Pregnant and right arm hurting normal?

Im almost 25 weeks pregnant and I am having trouble with my right arm. Both of my hands keep falling asleep when I lay down it gets worse. My right arm seems worse my wrist gets to hurting and then I get sharp pains up and down my whole arm. Both of my hands keep swelling and going numb but my right arm does it worse I even had to take my ring off that hand cause it was digging in to my finger. I already talked to mu doctor he just said oh it's normal its from swelling but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone has any idea on how to help it can I lay my arm a way that might help anything it makes it so hard to sleep at night and its so painful I want to cry sometimes need advise bad.....
