Alot of Christians especially those that work in the church have based alot of their lives around religion so.?

hypothetically speaking if you one day realized you don't truly believe in God, would the fact that all of your friends, family, and(or) career, etc. depend on your faith in order to work, keep you from being true to yourself? I just feel like this is the case for alot of people. The tradition is their livelihood so they can't walk out.
