I found a white headless bird wrapped in a white cloth at my Lodge, whats that about?

I found a white headless bird wrapped in a white cloth, under a bush outside my Masonic Lodge. What is the point, if any, of doing this? the way it was wrapped in the cloth, and the way it was placed under the bush definitely imply it was done on purpose.
