What is the contemporary consensus on which books consist Les Miserables?

I have the Signet Classic version. 1463 pages,it has every book, and it is complete. I got mine at a book store for $7.95. It is an awesome book. If Book 1 has been taken out, then your book is not complete and unabridged.
