Who pays the travel costs for an out-of-state wedding vendor?

I have a couple of friends who have offered their services for my wedding (professional D.J. and Photographer). The D.J. lives in Arizona and the photographer in North Carolina. The wedding will be in Michigan. Who pays for their airfare and lodging?
